Al limite, per certi versi, è più affine a Thor in quanto sono entrambi eroi "dei due mondi": e poi qui siamo nei territori della space-opera vera e propria e visto che mi piace definire l'high-concept di un film con una tagline direi che Green Lantern è "Top Gun meets Star Wars".

Dio, io sono morto e rinato, il volume del mio eiaculato è aumentato a dismisura, boxer inzuppati! Meraviglioso, sembra essere un mix tra Iron Man (il primo, eh) e The Dark Knight: Reynolds è delizioso con la sua performance a-la Top Gun, resa del costume perfetta, 'mazza Sinestro è identico alla controparte fumettistica, un po' preoccupato che con Hammond si scivoli in territori camp, impianto visivo molto promettente. Era ora che la DC tirasse fuori gli attributi. Mò me compro subito l'anello in plastica verde di Hal e una t-shirt di Green Lantern da poter sfoggiare alla prima del film. Ora il trailer di Thor a dicembre e possiamo chiudere l'anno in bellezza. P.S.: C'è nei fumetti l'amico occhialuto di Hal o è un personaggio inventato?

Ha visto l'italiano Feisbum e l'ha confuso con The Social Network. La chiusa su Sorkin invalida l'intero assunto e ne rivela la crassa ignoranza e la natura tendenziosa. Del resto, è l'opinione di un maitre-à-penser che a proposito di Avatar scrisse: Come dire? Vista lunga e forward-thinking non sono il suo forte.

:surprice: Confermato Guillermo Del Toro sull'Hulk televisivo. Benedetto il giorno che ha mollato The Hobbit. Ora, Loeb è tra i più squallidi scrittori che abbiano mai calcato la scena, ma bisogna prendere atto che la divisione televisiva Marvel da lui presieduta è partita con il piede giusto. Anche se non lo leggo più post-Peter David (e con la sola eccezione di Bruce Jones), Hulk è da sempre il mio personaggio preferito e ho tuttora un debole per la serie televisiva di Kenneth Johnson. Il film scritto da Aaron Sorkin, il più grande sceneggiatore di tutti i tempi, è tratto dal libro The Accidental Billionaire di Ben Mezrich, a sua volta basato sul Livejournal blog di Zuckerberg, un ampio carteggio legale e colloqui con i testimoni-chiave della vicenda: vi sono le ovvie licenze poetiche e drammatizzazioni perchè in un qualsiasi lavoro finzionale che si rispetti l'aderenza alla realtà va necessariamente piegata alle logiche dell'intrattenimento, l'affabulazione ha sempre la precedenza sull'accuratezza, altrimenti tanto vale girare un documentario.

L'attesissimo (da chi?) trailer di Thor debutterà il 17 dicembre con Tron Legacy. Come dire? Io non sbaglio mai.

:fash1: Non faccio fatica a credere che The Social Network sarà ricordato ai posteri come il Quarto Potere o il Tutti gli uomini del Presidente dei giorni nostri e perfetta summa socio-politica delle prime decadi del 21° secolo. Che poi a me generalmente Fincher non piace, ma questo, nondimeno grazie a Sorkin (che andrebbe preservato in un museo naturale), è un lavoro di rara maestria con tante di quelle sottigliezze testuali narrative, visive e di montaggio che non basterebbe una Treccani per analizzarle a dovere.

Lo so, lo so: ma non hai idea di quanto lo detesti. Già che ci sono e riallacciandomi all'eccellente analisi tematica di Monsieur Sciuggi, vorrei postare una superba replica di Dio-in-terra Aaron Sorkin in merito alle tante accuse di misoginia piovutegli addosso: "Believe me, I get it. It's not hard to understand how bright women could be appalled by what they saw in the movie but you have to understand that that was the very specific world I was writing about. Women are both prizes an equal. Mark's blogging that we hear in voiceover as he drinks, hacks, creates Facemash and dreams of the kind of party he's sure he's missing, came directly from Mark's blog. With the exception of doing some cuts and tightening (and I can promise you that nothing that I cut would have changed your perception of the people or the trajectory of the story by even an inch) I used Mark's blog verbatim. Mark said, "Erica Albright's a bitch" (Erica isn't her real name -- I changed three names in the movie when there was no need to embarrass anyone further), "Do you think that's because all B.U. girls are bitches?" More generally, I was writing about a very angry and deeply misogynistic group of people. These aren't the cuddly nerds we made movies about in the 80's. They're very angry that the cheerleader still wants to go out with the quarterback instead of the men (boys) who are running the universe right now. The women they surround themselves with aren't women who challenge them (and frankly, no woman who could challenge them would be interested in being anywhere near them.) And this very disturbing attitude toward women isn't just confined to the guys who can't get dates. I didn't invent the "F--k Truck", it's real -- and the men (boys) at the final clubs think it's what they deserve for being who they are. (It's only fair to note that the women -- bussed in from other schools for the "hot" parties, wait on line to get on that bus without anyone pointing guns at their heads.) These women--whether it's the girls who are happy to take their clothes off and dance for the boys or Eduardo's psycho-girlfriend are real. I mean REALLY real. (In the case of Christy, Eduardo's girlfriend so beautifully played by Brenda Song, I conflated two characters -- again I hope you'll trust me that doing that did nothing to alter our take on the events. Christy was the second of three characters whose name I changed.) I invented two characters -- one was Rashida Jones's "Marylin", the youngest lawyer on the team and a far cry from the other women we see in the movie. She's plainly serious, competent and, when asked, has no problem speaking the truth as she sees it to Mark. The other was Gretchen, Eduardo's lawyer (in reality there was a large team of litigators who all took turns deposing witnesses but I wanted us to become familiar with just one person -- a woman, who, again, is nobody's trophy. And Rooney Mara's Erica's a class act. I wish I could go door to door and make this explanation/apology to any woman offended by the things you've pointed out but obviously that's unrealistic so I thought the least I could do was speak directly to you." @Shuji: il cast è tutto eccellente, con vertici recitativi come raramente se ne vedono (non è facile esprimere con naturalezza i dialoghi a raffica di Sorkin), ma spero che la performance di Andrew Garfield ti abbia bagnato le mutande per il reboot di Spider-Man.

Quel fottuto e immenso geniaccio di Aronofsky ha precisato che il suo film su Wolverine assolutamente non sarà un sequel ma anzi, un film a se stante che ignora e prende le distanze dal merdaio di Gavin Hood e persino avulso da ogni continuity narrativa della saga mutante, il titolo sarà infatti semplicemente "The Wolverine". Cosa voglio vedere stavolta? Berserker rage (mai veramente esplorata se non brevemente su X-men 2), sangue a fiumi, una fotografia sporca e livida e un'estetica mutuata da Lone Wolf and Cub: ho detto tutto! Grazie Darren e buon lavoro e chissà che non sia il primo film di supereroi candidato agli Oscar! (Trottola, tiè!)

E' vero che ha l'allarmante estetica cheap stile Fantastic Four, ma in questo caso è chiaramente un girato "unfinished", un work in progress: sono tuttora in post e il film uscirà solo tra 8 mesi.

come i 2 iron man se non vado errato, no? Anche quello arrivò in leggero anticipo, sì. E anche Iron Man (il primo) da noi uscì tre giorni prima che in USA, se non ricordo male. :biggrin: Come grossomodo un po' tutti i film Marvel e più in generale i blockbuster estivi degli ultimi 10 anni: se la memoria non mi tradisce il trend inedito dei film in contemporanea mondiale o in leggero anticipo iniziò proprio con Il Gladiatore.

Altre pulzelle si aggiungono alla lista (una peggio dell'altra): 'na carneade (Tanit Phoenix), 'na magnabaguette (Marion Cotillard) e 'na fallita (Piper Perabo).

Sarebbero sei le candidate ai due ruoli femminili di The Dark Knight Rises: Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway e Keira Knightley. Alura, ragioniamo: Lively, per ovvi motivi, è fuori concorso; altrettanto improbabile la bellissima e bravissima Natalie Portman che tra millemila progetti è la più richiesta di Hollywood, Weisz mi sta sul cazzo, nun me piase e so' contento che Aronofsky le abbia dato un calcio nelle chiappe (e fu così che Trottola scelse lei! ); di un mucchio d'ossa anoressiche (Knightley) non so cosa Nolan se ne faccia, Hathaway non la posso proprio soffrire, mi urta il sistema nervoso e preferirei fosse sciolta nel vetriolo e, infine, Watts è piuttosto imbolsita e si è ormai persa per strada.

La decisione è stata primariamente di JMS con la benedizione di DanDio: il successo spaventoso di Superman Earth One ha radicalmente cambiato le carte in tavola e ora si vuole giustamente approfittare del momentum, meglio battere il ferro finchè è caldo!

Hai ragione, ma personalmente ho sempre preferito il Superman "scagnozzo" dai metodi spicci che l'insopportabile boy-scout dei tempi odierni. Penso che JMS volesse tornare alle origini.

Ah, dimenticavo: per camere intendo macchine da presa e non stanze d'appartamento, sai com'è meglio precisare!

Esattissimo, prevedo un tracollo immediato nelle vendite ergo a che è servito tutto questo rilancio con collaterale hype? Per riportare Superman e WW al fondo delle classifiche?

Ma dai, lo sai che mi diverte particolarmente sfrucugliarti!

@Erik: in pratica sospende immediatamente di scrivere tutti i mensili (ha appena scoperto che non fanno per lui, yuk!) per dedicarsi esclusivamente nei prossimi 5 anni a graphic-novel e miniserie (Superman: Earth One e Samaritan X); Grounded e Odissey saranno portate avanti da altri basandosi sulle note lasciate da JMS. Onirepap, rileggiti il Superman della Golden Age e poi ne riparliamo.
