Non è tanto tempo, se ci pensi, considerando che non inizierà prima di fine 2011/inizio 2012 e che si tratta di ben 2 film da girarsi back-to-back. Ora che quell'universo è stato introdotto e la sua fondazione ben metabolizzata dall'audience, Cameron può finalmente scatenarsi con una narrazione complessa, articolata, lisergica ed astratta. Tra l'altro, ha idee per 10 sequel.

Infatti è appena stata cassata, in pratica lo guardavano solo i parenti dei produttori.

Credo che volesse fare qualcosa d'altro prima di impegnarsi a così lungo termine con i sequel di Avatar. Ho la sensazione che la Fox abbia di colpo accelerato le trattative per il terrore atavico di perderlo a favore di altre major (Cleopatra della Sony, per esempio). Sapevo perfettamente che avresti reagito così.

Meglio così, un altro film di cui fare volentieri a meno: un cast osceno, la conferma dissennata di Nicolas Cage, uno script scritto da carneadi riciclato da un vecchissimo lavoro di Goyer, un budget ridicolo, location da terzo e quarto mondo. Prevedo un altro Jonah Hex: poveri Neveldine & Taylor, immischiati in un altro disastro! I tempi gloriosi di Crank 1 e 2 sono un lontano ricordo del passato.

Ottime notizie per i fan del reboot di Spider-Man ( ) dopo gli indicibili orrori partoriti dal beccamorto ( ): in corsa per il ruolo di J.J.Jameson abbiamo Sam Elliot e John Slattery (il padre di Tony Stark in quella porcata di Iron Man 2). Ricapitolando: regista indie, ottimo script, cast superbo e memorabile villain. Se fossi il Trottola, me incomincerei a preoccupa'!

Anche Talia è un buon suggerimento vista l'introduzione di Ra's Al Ghul nel primo capitolo, anche se cozza con l'impianto realistico dato al reboot. Convintissimo fosse già stato postato, comunque quello è solo un promo informale realizzato per testare gli FX, nulla di ufficiale. Vero è che con la conclusione di Smalville, si cercano degni (si fa per dire) sostituti (Blue Beetle o Sandman ). Cross-posting con Onirepap!

Quelli che Lucas si appresta a realizzare (probabilmente nella sola capacità produttiva) sono i famosi capitoli 7, 8 e 9, annunciati alla fine degli anni '90 e poi abortiti a favore dei soli prequel. Concordo, non credo neanche di essere mai riuscito a vederlo per intero: quel film rappresenta l'apoteosi dell'edonismo reaganiano. Non mi ha sorpreso l'annuncio di un sequel, vista l'onda lunga del revival di tutte le cose anni '80. Epperò, il coinvolgimento di McQuarrie ha frenato il mio intento perculatorio.

Prenditela invece con quel cretino di James Robinson che ne ha firmato lo script e al quale la DC ancora consente di insozzare i comics (Cry for Justice, JLA, War of the Superman e mò pure Hawkman). Norrington è bravo ed ha il solo torto di aver accettato un compito ingrato.

Esclusi i due sequel, vero? E' stato sostituito da Liam Neeson. Vero, epperò sgomberiamo un attimo il campo dalle ipocrisie: ho sempre pensato che vada valutato l'artista e non la persona, altrimenti usando il metro della doppia morale nessuno dovrebbe più lavorare a Hollywood; vi ricordo, per es., che l'intellighenzia planetaria si schierò a difesa di Polanski, noto stupratore e pedofilo. Mi dicono che la performance di Gibson su The Beaver è da premio Oscar e il dilemma che sta attanagliando Summit è se rilasciare il film entro l'anno (conditio sine qua non per concorrere agli Oscar) o se addiritturla rinviarlo sine die.

Evidentemente siamo su una lunghezza d'onda differente. A me piace molto quel che ho letto: l'ho trovato bizzarro e disturbante, senza contare che non conosciamo nulla del contesto narrativo (architrama e personaggi). In fin dei conti Alien è da sempre una franchise altamente sessualizzata e freudiana, che gioca con le paure ancestrali di strupro, penetrazione e parto; vi ricordo che l'Alieno non è altro che un organo sessuale maschile deambulante.

Ben gli sta, sono assolutamente deliziato dalla delocalizzazione: ricattare e forzare la mano non paga mai, ora si godano pure gli esiti tafazzisti.
