Avete ragione entrambi, ma Feige continua ad insistere che il film è PESANTEMENTE anzi, ESCLUSIVAMENTE ispirato alle tavole di Steve Ditko. Staremo a vedere se trolla o meno. A meno che non vogliano tenere tutto segreto nei trailer e rivelarlo solo sul grande schermo. Il problema è che è impossibile emettere un giudizio, non è delineato a tutto tondo, manca quasi completamente di caratterizzazione: sembra quasi un comic-relief che appare solo a intervalli regolari per liberare Harley Quinn. E' solo un criminalotto pittoresco iconograficamente ispirato a certa mafia russa o messicana. Comunque il film, scherzando e ridendo, ha totalizzato 600 milioni di dollari worldwide, non un risultato disprezzabile.

Doug Liman (Edge Of Tomorrow) molla Gambit per volgere la sua attenzione a Justice League Dark della WB. E' il secondo regista a gettare la spugna, ne deduco che il film sia particolarmente inguaiato, non sorpreso quando si tratta di Fox.

Sono d'accordo con voi, sono villain che non avranno nessun peso pecifico nella trama. Il grande baddie sarà il solo Avvoltoio (e il Tinkerer).

Esattamente: il film l'ha montato non Ayer ma un'azienda specializzata in trailer. Darei non so cosa per vedere il cut di Ayer che ha un attacco differente privo del dossier/spiegone iniziale, aggiunto solo dopo gli screen-test. E ci sono talmente tante scene tagliate da poterci costruire un altro film per intero. Ecco spiegate le tante incongruenze del montaggio.
