Sì, credo proprio che ci sia stato questo duplice ragionamento, narrativo e concettuale, dietro la presentazione del personaggio. Un altro tarlo che me arrovella è il seguente: molti lamentano che non sia Pym ma Stark il creatore di Ultron, per me invece è assolutamente logico e sensato nel contesto dell'universo cinematografico, epperò c'è un passaggio nella sinossi di Avengers: Age of Ultron che mi ha dato da pensare: "When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program..."; magari sparo una cazzata fenomenale che non ha alcuna attinenza con la realtà, ma questo potrebbe essere lo stratagemma narrativo per fare, sia pur retroattivamente e magari con un flashback, Pym l'originatore di Ultron.

Perchè è questa l'impostazione data sin dall'inizio da Edgar Wright, che è un fan di Scott Lang ed era più interessato al concetto di legacy hero. Molti datano l'inizio del progetto di Wright al 2005 ma, in realtà, se vi ricordate, risale addirittura al 2001 quando lo doveva fare la ex Artisan. Mi lascia perplesso il credito della sceneggiatura dato a Adam McKay e Paul Rudd: trovo improbabile che in appena sei settimane abbiano riscritto radicalmente lo script considerando che molti set erano già stati costruiti, al massimo possono aver rilavorato e ampliato alcuni beat narrativi e aggiunto dialoghi.

C'è 'na cosa che mi frulla nella capa da un po' di tempo: secondo voi, quando Adam Mckay disse di aver inserito nella sceneggiatura "a GIANT action sequence", era un messaggio cifrato su Giant-Man o mi faccio troppe pere sul nulla?

No, penso più all'enorme pressione per un regista inesperto e alle prime armi di gestire un blockbuster di quelle dimensioni. Alcuni hanno abbastanza carattere e personalità da riuscire a fare il salto (vedi Gareth Edwards), altri come Josh Trank evidentemente no.

Da settimane circolano indiscrezioni troppo insistenti da continuare a ignorare: Subito dopo le riprese, Josh Trank è stato licenziato e reshoot e post-produzione continuano senza di lui. Durante le riprese, Josh Trank era perennemente fatto come una zucchina al punto di non riuscire quasi a parlare o reggersi in piedi; ha trattato cast e troupe come pezze da piedi, in particolare ha reso la vita di Kate Mara un inferno. Josh Trank ha completamente distrutto l'appartamento che la Fox gli aveva affittato durante le riprese provocando danni per duecentomila dollari; Jim Gianopulos (il capo della Fox) è intervenuto personalmente per scusarsi con i proprietari del locale.

Per quello che ci riguarda, la Fox ha datato Gambit (con Channing Tatum...roba da spararsi sui coglioni!) per il 7 ottobre 2016 e F42 (bè, se non altro hanno molta confidenza nel film!) per il 2 giugno 2017. E stasera Ant-Man!!!!!
