Peter Parker, fully back in the spider's seat of his own mind, is returning to the pages of a relaunched Amazing Spider-Man #1 in April, by the creative team of Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos. The NY Daily News just officially confirmed the news that we now know was leaked Wednesday evening by the appearance online of a cover to an upcoming free preview book .

The series (and character's) return is no surprise to writer Dan Slott, who will continue his web of intrigue that he started in 2008 as part of the rotating writing team of the "Brand New Day" era of Spider-Man; he knew of Peter's return since before he killed him off in December 2012.

“To do that for a solid year of my life, that’s the hardest thing I’ve had to do — to look small children in the eye at a convention and lie to them," Slott told The Daily News. "Inside, part of me was dying." Slott did, however, on a set visit for Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, tell Andrew Garfield that Peter would be back in time for the film.

 

 

When Slott first discussed the storyline that would kill off Peter and see Otto Octavius, who debuted in 1963's Amazing Spider-Man #3 as Doc Ock, one of Peter's oldest, most nefarious villains take his place as Spidey with the executives at Marvel, the writer said he was "as cynical" as any fan would be.

Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso says that "people will appreciate him a little more after this." He added that he thought "people have been taking [Peter] for granted."

As for the return itself, the Daily News was light on details, but Dan Slott has taken to social media to tease fans that at least some hints will come as early as this coming Wednesday, January 15, 2014. In Superior Spider-Man currently, Otto/Spidey has merged with the Venom symbiote - while Dr. Strange's magic erased Parker from the alien suit's memory, it does recognize that something is wrong with its host. The Avengers are on the scene, and Peter's ex-girlfriend Carlie Cooper, who has figured out the mind-swap, is currently being held captive by the Green Goblin.

Cosa piuttosto antipatica successa per il primo numero di MiracleMan una scena molto cruda è stata censurata nella versione cartacea seppur nella versione digitale simile censura non ci sia, la scena in se non e' pornografica e violenta, ma

DC Comics ha reso noto il nuovo team creativo che prenderà le redini di Superman questa estate e sarà composto da Geoff Johns e John Romita Jr., come anticipato oggi pomeriggio. Inoltre, l’artista Klaus Janson (“The Dark Knight Returns“, “Daredevil“) si occuperà delle inchiostrazioni, ma realizzerà anche storie, disegni e variant cover per la casa editrice dell’Uomo d’Acciaio.

“Prenderemo le redini della serie mensile di Superman questa estate,” dice Johns in un segmento di DC All Access. “Abbiamo parlato di Superman per un bel po’ e sarà un gran colpo.”

“Questo sarà davvero interessante,” dice Romita Jr. “Sono un un po’ intimidito nel vedere quello che gli artisti hanno fatto prima, non sarà una cosa semplice navigarci agevolmente attraverso.”

“Condivido il tuo nervosismo, ma ho anche fiducia,” risponde Johns. “Sono davvero entusiasta di questa nostra accoppiata.”

Trallaltro il primo disegno dell'azzurrone di romitinino mi pare decisamente piu ispirato dei suoi ultimi lavori alla marvel, il che mi fa pensare che si era pure rotto iccoglioni disegnare sempre gli stessi personaggi.

Dopo alcuni mesi di incertezza è stato lo stesso Dan Abnett, attraverso il suo account twitter, a confermare che la sua partnership con Andy Lanning è giunta al termine.

Alla base dello split pare ci sarebbe divergenze creative e motivazioni personali.

Lanning dal canto suo ha contribuito al rilancio degli eroi UK della Marvel con Revolutionary Warmentre il one-shot previsto per aprile intitolato Guardians of the Galaxy, e scritto a quattro mani, potrebbe essere materiale che i due avevano già scritto ma rimasto inedito.

La Marvel farà a partire a maggio una mini-serie intitolata enfaticamente The Amazing Spider-Man Year One: Learning to Crawl.

La mini in 5 parti partirà a maggio e terminerà a settembre (e verrà numerata 1.1-1.5) correndo parallelamente alla rediviva serie regolare Amazing Spiderman rinarrando le origini ed i primi passi di Peter Parker come Spiderman.

Il team creativo sarà composto da Dan Slott e Ramon Perez con cover Alex Ross.

Slott ha dichiarato che:

“sarà come ritornare sulle pagine dei vecchi albi di Stan Lee e Steve Ditko [...] introdurremo un nuovo villain che avrà la stessa età di Peter [...]“
