cmq non è un problema di idee imo. tanto ormai gira e rigira quelle sono. il problema è come vengono espresse e che valore hanno. almeno un po' lo status quo delle cose DEVE essere rotto (batman spezzato, superman morto, spiderman clone per dire i tre più celebri tralasciando i supergruppi) e deve succedere sia con violenza fisica che psicologica per creare il giusto interesse. solo così, con una grande sfida, un eroe può ripercorrere la propria strada per il successo (o la redenzione, quel che è, basta che il racconto sia notevole e la strada in salita, con delle prove da superare); dei pagliaccetti in costume che si mettono in posa statuaria o da goku che si carica di energia urlando anche basta eh, tanto peggio se le loro storie sono tutte carezze e visini puliti. serve insomma quel tipo di dramma realistico che ormai è un ricordo lontano.

Beh, dipende sempre da come scrivi questi 12 numeri, eh. Dceased è una bella lettura. Ma non smetterò mai di ripetere che Taylor dovrebbe dedicarsi solo agli elseworlds, perché lì ci può buttare tutto il fanservice che vuole ed è proprio forte.

Alla fine sono megaeventi a sé stanti. Nascono e muoiono in seno a sé stessi, anche se ultimamente gli autori stanno prendendo la piega di andare a rivisitarli tot anni dopo (Taylor con John e Injustice e Waid con Kingdom Come).

Sì, ma anche questo dipende sempre da come lo si fa. Lo status quo di Batman da rebirth in poi è cambiato in mano a ogni autore e non sempre l'operazione è riuscitissima.

ok ma si parlava di eventi. le run normali sono come "la vita" e ogni tanto succede qualcosa. alle volte possono essere una bella lettura, ma se vuoi fare le cose in grande (evento) è un gradino diverso di lettura.

Da Settembre 2025, Batman riparte dal numero 1 con Matt Fraction e Jorge Jimenez.

“As a DC artist, I have to say this is something I’ve always dreamed of, and getting to do it alongside someone as amazing and talented as Matt is just incredible for me,” said Jiménez. “As for my work on Batman, the artistic side, I’ve poured years of hard work into this series. Over time, I’ve had to adapt to different styles and paces alongside James and Chip, learning and enjoying every step of the way. I’ve explored Gotham City from multiple angles, but more importantly, I’ve gradually built up more and more artistic tools that have led me to the current synthesis of my style.”

DC’s new Batman #1 becomes only the fourth renumbering for DC’s Batman comic book series in the title’s 85-year history. Under Fraction and Jiménez, with colors by Tomeu Morey and lettering by Clayton Cowles, Batman will have a new blue and gray costume, a new Batmobile, and the series will usher in a new look for Gotham City.
 

“For this new chapter, we’re crafting a revamped aesthetic, bringing back Batman’s blue suit in a definitive way,” said Jiménez. “It’s a small shift meant to feel both classic and fresh, subtly evolving while staying true to the original design we’ve used in recent years. At the same time, I’m working on Gotham City’s visual identity, giving it a fresh approach that sets it apart from my previous takes. I’m aiming for a slight pop influence, something that subtly nods to classic stories while keeping the dark and ominous feel of contemporary Batman.

“Part of the reason Batman has lasted as long and has resonated as loudly as he has as a character is that he’s incredibly resilient,” said Fraction. “He can be all kinds of things to all different people all at the same time — whether that’s in the comics or in animation or in movies.”

Fraction, Jimenez, Morey and Cowles will be telling a series of connected but self-contained stories when they begin their run in September. Every issue could be a new adventure, a new style, and a new challenge for the creative team to put in front of Batman. More details on September’s Batman #1 to be revealed soon.

Ora, un paio di considerazioni. La run di Loeb in partenza adesso non poteva essere altro che un cuscinetto, e questo è indubbio e si è sempre saputo. Ma sarebbe dovuta durare 12 numeri. Ora invece sarà 6 su Batman e 6 su una testata apposita. Non posso far altro che pensare che o sia stato tutto pianificato X tmepo fa(la cosa che dovrebbe essere ovvia) o a un certo punto abbiano cambiato qualche piano in tavola. Mah.

Una notizia che onestamente non mi aspettavo, verso la fine dell'anno ci dovrebbe essere un nuovo Marvel Vs DC, si parla di due one shot, ma sospetto che ci saranno molti tie in e team up(e perche no?, il tirono di Amalgam)
