Se uno non ha già la Limitend Edition è una buona alternativa al DVD singolo che costa solo €19,90...

Evidentemente i package della limited che erano stati fatti dallo stesso produttore che ha fatto i dvd giapponesi erano davvero limited, e siccome c'è ancora richiesta per la versione a due dischi rimediano con un package fatto in casa per soddisfare le richieste extra.

Molto probabile, come l'edizione doppio disco di Iron-Man che nella prima tiratura c'era anche con cover metallica e poi la standard con amaray da due dischi normale. Nulla di strano. Se c'è la richiesta hanno fatto bene a ristampare i dischi tanto la limited resta comunque limited se cambiano la confezione con una meno figa

Io invece sono dell'idea che sarà come è stato per la versione della Lucky Red, Il Castello Errante di Howl, la prima versione conteneva un fotogramma "originale" del film( ), mentre dopo No.

Mah, non è necessariamente detto, posso semplicemente averla stampata in molte più copie. Per dire, conosco più gente che si è comprata la monodisco piuttosto che quella che si è comprata l'edizione pornolusso.

Evangelion 1.0 film to get "1.11" remastering on Japanese BD, DVD on May 27



Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance, the second film in Hideaki Anno and Khara's theatrical remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion television anime series, will open on June 27 in Japan. Khara had already revealed the title and early summer release window for the second film last October.



The project's official website and the second film's teaser, which was shown with the first film, promised the fan-favorite character Asuka, the EVA-02 through -06 units with new designs for many of them, a new eyeglasses-wearing brunette girl character, "more fan "service-service," "a shocking new story, and new visuals." The character designer Hiroyuki Sadamoto designed three Be@rbrick toys — one each for Asuka, the character Rei, and a mystery character — to be sold separately on March 14 or bundled with advance film ticket purchases.



In related news, the official Evangelion website has announced on Thursday that the first movie in the remake project, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, will get a "1.11" release on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on May 27. The 1.11 release will include new cuts and digital mastering. More details on King Record's news release will be made public on March 16. There was an earlier "1.01" version that was first released on DVD last April and given a second theatrical run that same month.



Funimation is releasing the first film in North America in film festivals and later on DVD this year. The first film opened in September 2007, earned over 2 billion yen (about US$20 million), and became the #2 top-selling domestic DVD in 2008, just below Boys Over Flowers Final. It won the Harayasa Tōkaimura Award at the 7th Annual Japanese Otaku Awards, the Animation of the Year award at the 7th Annual Tokyo Anime Awards, and the Theatrical Film Award at the 13th Animation Kobe Awards.

Ma 'sta versione BD avrà al massimo qualche insignifante dettaglio (qualche "lucetta" -cit. EvangHelion- nelle sequenze esplosive e cazzatelle simili) in più, non si parla di nuove scene o chissà cosa.
Shikashi te devi da fidà Halman, 'sta tetralogia sarà l'opera simbolo del decennio (se va male), altro che Haruhi!

Comunque non capisco questa bramosia di avere in HD proprio questo film quando esistono diversi lungometraggi animati con una qualità animata superiore. Akira, Jin Roh, Honneamise sono usciti in bluray...

Sì ma, seppure migliori dal punto di vista della qualità grafica (proprio ieri sera ho visto Honneamise ), si tratta comunque (specie gli ultimi due, purtroppo) di film che non hanno grandi possibilità (ma personalmente non credo ne abbia molte neanche la Rebuild) di avere un'edizione HD italiana. Se si pensa che Ōritsu Uchūgun non ha neanche un'edizione DVD...
