Deadline annuncia che la Sony sta creando una nuova compagnia di produzione chiamata “Ghost Corps” che sarà guidata da Ivan Reitman e Dan Aykroyd per realizzare una nuova serie di film sugli Acchiappafantasmi.

I fratelli Anthony e Joe Russo, registi di Captain America – The Winter Soldier e Captain America – Civil War, dirigeranno e produrranno un nuovo film che sarà scritto da Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible 5). Channing Tatum sarà co-produttore e protagonista del film.

Reitman ha dichiarato: “Vogliamo espandere l’universo di Ghostbusters con nuovi film, serie tv, merchandise e tutto ciò che fa parte dell’intrattenimento moderno. E’ un brand d’intrattenimento, una premessa di sovrannaturale spaventoso mista a commedia. Il film si baserà su un’idea fantastica. Drew inizierà a scriverlo con la speranza che i fratelli Russo possano girarlo la prossima estate. Il film uscirà nel 2017. E’ solo l’inizio di quelli che spero siano molti film.”

While the original Ghostbusters is considered a modern comedy classic, given its paranormal subject, the movie's actual scares leave a lot to be desired. However, Paul Feig, the director of the Ghostbusters all-female reboot, promises to create a blockbuster that is both genuinely funny and scary. And for the horror elements, the Bridesmaids filmmaker is finding inspiration in another successful franchise: The Walking Dead.

"I will say, I was very inspired by this show," Feig told the zombie hit's post-show chat Talking Dead (via The Guardian). "What I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it’s always about [a] gauntlet run. And that's an element I want to bring to this Ghostbusters reboot: having to get through these various obstacles that are supernatural and all that. I really feed off of The Walking Dead."

 

However, despite the box office success of R-rated comedies like Bridesmaids, 21 Jump Street and The Hangover series, Feig will still guide the reboot toward a PG-13 rating in order to maximize its audience. "The Ghostbusters world doesn’t need that level of swearing," Feig told Empire. "We'll have to be PG-13 with this one. I would like to make it R-rated, but I won't. You want the biggest number of people to watch it and not be put off by it."

 

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will all sport the proton packs when the reboot arrives July 22, 2016. Original Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd has expressed interest in returning to the franchise with a "conventional third sequel," even though Harold Ramis passed away and Bill Murray has no desire to make another Ghostbusters.

LOL, la Marvel ha fatto danno riuscendo a far fruttare un "universo" in cui poter collegare i vari film.

Ora stan cercando tutti di imitarla cercando di creare un loro universo da spennare.

Ma quindi avendo i Russo firmato un first look deal con Sony, salta l'indiscrezione che li voleva registi di Avengers: Infinity War part I e II.

Comunque sono ben quattro i film previsti con i Ghostbusters, tra cui anche un prequel: cioè, ancora non è stato girato neanche un fotogramma del reboot, non si ha idea del tipo di accoglienza che potrà avere e già si costruiscono castelli in aria di questo tipo? Non è bastata la lezione di Spider-man?

l'effetto stranger things è pesante. il "c'erano una volta questi mitici cacciatori di fantasmi, non lo sapevate?" rischia di essere una mazzata per il film stesso. è tutto tremendamente patinato e perfettino.

La nascita di un Avventura troppo grande per chi la vive, ma non per capirla.

Un paio di occhiali tondi danno nome e discendenza ad uno dei protagonisti.

Manly tears a parrte, e' passato tanto tempo, ma ieri come oggi, i ghostbusters sono li' non per credere in 'voi' ma per capire quanto accade intorno.

E forse mai come in questa strana era, c'e'stato mai tanto bisogno degli acchiappa fantasmi.
